THE BOOK

In this 8-part small group study, the story of Mount St Helens is weaved into the lives of men and used as a stirring metaphor for what occurs when they fail to effectively manage the many pressures of life, leadership, and change.

Men will discover that when they feel the internal force of adversity, there is a well-worn path that leads to strength and longevity.

This study includes a self-guided assessment designed to facilitate authentic conversations that guide men to a more resilient rule of life.

THE FILM

To support the message of this book, our team has secured a partnership with a video production company to produce a full-length documentary feature film.

In the film, we hope to provide a video resource that sparks conversations among men about internal issues related to their mental health. This film is designed to serve as an engaging and soul-stirring film that men’s groups around the U.S. can watch together and discuss.

Following the precedent set by faith-based films like The Chosen, we hope to crowdfund the remaining costs needed to complete full production.

Those who partner financially in its production will be honored based on a system of giving tiers. When production is completed, we aim to rent a theater for a premiere release. In time, we will make a streaming license available for churches to display the film in churches, small groups, and independent theatres around the U.S.
