During the height of the COVID19 Pandemic, a passage in the Gospel of Luke struck me to the core:

4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” 5 But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” 6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. 7 So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” 9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; 10 . . . And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” Luke 5:4-10

At the time, I was a church planter and pastor and felt a growing burden for men living and leading in modern times. There did not seem to be a well-defined understanding of Biblical masculinity guiding men through the crashing waves of cultural pressures. So, I took a father’s day sermon on 2 Timothy 4:5 and used it as the launching pad for the creation of a complete men’s ministry resource. I consulted the latest research, interviewed leaders nationwide, and partnered with a team of men’s ministry strategists.

Together, our vision is to equip men to rise above modern culture and call them to Biblical, strategic, and Spirit-filled manhood. We believe that Jesus is calling churches throughout the United States and around the world to let down their nets and reach for the men in their cities. We also want to support men’s ministry leaders in local churches and provide the tools necessary for sustainable impact. In the last days leading up to the return of Christ, we feel called by God to fill our nets with men. We hope you sense that call as well.
